Avoid those ‘Bunny Lines’ this Easter

Everybody loves the Easter Bunny, but that doesn’t mean we want the bunny lines to match!

Also called nasoglabellar lines, ‘Bunny Lines’ are the wrinkles that appear at top of the nose when you scrunch your nose (like a rabbit!), caused by repetitive movements by the muscle such as smiling or squinting.

While anyone can get them, they are more noticeable when you have your forehead and around the eyes treated with Botox®, as different muscles are forced to move more when making facial expressions to compensate for the lack of contractions in the other muscles.
These lines can often be referred to as a ‘tell’ when guessing if celebs have had work done, as they are more apparent when everywhere else on the face is smooth! Thankfully they are very easy to treat with Botox®.

How are Bunny Lines treated?

You can easily treat Bunny Lines with Botox® or other Wrinkle Relaxing Injections on each side of the nose. This relaxes the muscle that causes the crinkling effect, lessening the appearance of these wrinkles, and preventing new creases from appearing.

You may be able to see the results of the treatment in as little as 2-5 days, but it can take up to two weeks to achieve the full effect, and the results can last 3-6 months.

As with other Botox® and Wrinkle Relaxing Injections, there is very little downtime with this treatment, people really can pop in on their lunch break to have it done! There may be some very slight swelling where injected, but this will go down within 40 minutes. You may get very small pinprick bruises where injected which may last up to 7 days.

How much does it cost?

Bunny Lines are often very small, so only a small amount of product is required to treat the area. We can treat them for £50 if treated on their own, or if you are getting other areas treated with Botox® or other Wrinkle Relaxing Injections, we can treat your Bunny Lines for just £25.
